Hannah clover is a multimedia artist and musician who has worked across both coasts of the US. Her work is inspired by nostalgia and the mythologization of the world as she observes it unfolding around her in esoteric meaning and symbolic narratives. Hannah has always loved depicting metamorphosis and fragile ephemerality in her music, illustrations, painting, writing, and photography. She spent half of her most formative years in the alpine landscape of the Sierra Nevadas, and the other half just outside of downtown Los Angeles. These environments influenced her work to showcase both the interconnectedness and dichotomy of urban and rural zeitgeists.
As a young adult, she began working as a freelance photographer and cinematographer, capturing the simultaneous dreamy-ness and disillusionment of Gen Z in her photography and illustrations, featured in self-published & distributed zines and commissioned montage music videos. After graduating high school, Hannah worked at an artist collective in Philadelphia. The next year she attended Vancouver Island School of Art, where she transitioned from photo and video art into music, painting, and illustration as her main medium. Her work has been showcased / commissioned by bands, music venues, galleries, shops, and public spaces such as Jinxed Philadelphia, Ritual Ritual Shoppe, Bone Acre Band, West Street Market in Reno, Odd Bodies Band, The Side Room Band, The Holland Project, Sizzle Pie, Pitch Black Printing Co., Ceremony Skate Shop, R Cade Daddies Band, Space Cadet, Great Basin Community Food Co-op, Keylargo Cuts Hairstylist, and Protect Our Winters. Currently, Hannah is focused on a series of illustrations to be showcased in 2025, recording her first studio album, performing music in Central California, and designing/creating one of a kind crochet & knit garments . When Hannah isn’t working on creative projects, she spends her time skateboarding, hiking, and reading.
